I'm just a girl who loves making graphs, charts, & lists... and combining that with a passion for all things television.

The Stories Behind the Graphs…

Every graph, chart, or list that you’ll find on TVShowGraphs.com was created by me (hi, I’m Jamie!), as a way to celebrate incredible television shows and the data and stories behind them. Oftentimes, after creating a graph, I’ll find that I have more I want to share about it - maybe it’s a reflection behind the show that inspired the graph, or some interesting takeaways about the data itself. The blog section of this website allows you to diver deeper into these sorts of stories and analyses behind many of the graphs you’ll find on this website. Happy reading!

TVShowGraphs.com celebrates the joy of television, across all decades - through graphs, data, & fan discussion…

This site was inspired by a love for television (and my persisting conviction that television truly is a valid form of art). The graphs (and charts, and lists…) on here are all original content created by me - they span all decades and genres of television, and aim to create ongoing community & discussion around the medium of television

Some of the graphs you’ll find on here are totally subjective and opinion-based - meant for fun and to spark conversation (e.g. which 90s Nickelodeon game shows were most awesome vs. just ‘sorta’ awesome). Othes aim to really dive into data & metrics surrounding television, to uncover interesting trends (I am a math major & data nerd at heart!). You’ll also see some just-for-fun meme-style graphs on here, plus some graphs developed from user polls that I’ll run from time to time. I often like to have fun with the visual & design element for some graphs (bringing in imagery from the show(s) at hand), while in other cases, I let the data speak for itself. Everything is fair game!
